GetResponse opens to AI assistants via MCP as France and Italy rewrite open tracking
GetResponse launched an MCP connection in early October, letting Claude or ChatGPT query an account's email marketing. Later in the month it shipped open-tracking consent for France and Italy, following CNIL and Garante guidance, and tighter real-time subscription syncing between stores and GetResponse. Ecommerce campaigns also moved onto block-based Templates with cart and price-drop elements.
Hello Bar's popups now run surveys, polls and scheduled campaigns
Hello Bar builds popups, bars and lead-capture forms. Since late September it has added Forms & Surveys, with survey, poll, quiz, feedback and contact goals shown as modals, sliders, inline embeds or page takeovers, and launched Campaigns, which schedules popups to switch on and off by time window or weekly pattern. October brought a redesigned Trigger tab with a reopen limit for custom-event popups, and periodic session expiry. July had added gamification popups, video and a Widgets category.

Two pressures are shaping the roadmap. Regulation is forcing changes to a core email metric, and GetResponse has answered with product plus a webinar series. AI access is moving outward at the same time, from a template finder inside the product to outside assistants. The ecommerce line keeps closing the gap between store data and messaging.
Consent tooling is likely to widen if other regulators follow France and Italy, though the entries show only those two. The October roundup's mention of more AI workflows points to continued automation work.

The product is widening from offer popups into a general on-site data-collection and scheduling tool. Campaigns took about eight weeks from 'coming soon' to live, and the October changes are about making setup faster.
Expect more Forms & Surveys follow-ups, since the launch post asks for ideas on what's next; the entries do not name specifics.
