What is Hello Bar?

Hello Bar grows a second surface: on-page widgets alongside the popups.

Hello Bar builds popups, bars and lead-capture forms for websites, with targeting rules, triggers and email-provider integrations behind them. July was an unusually dense month: a gamification popup builder with spin, scratch and loot-box mechanics, video as a media option, a shared asset library, an expanded Salesforce integration, and a new Widgets category holding a chat launcher and an AI summary button. An automatic scheduling feature, Campaigns, has been announced but is still marked coming soon.

What is SalesBlink?

SalesBlink is making agents first-class clients, and just broke API-key MCP connections to do it

SalesBlink is cold-email outreach software shipping monthly roundups plus one-off announcements. The recent run is dominated by machine access: an MCP server, a CLI, an integration letting Hermes agents run outreach, and now OAuth on the MCP server with 40-plus upgraded tools spanning sequences, leads, inbox, senders and analytics. The rest is polish — Slack alerts over OAuth, branded meeting invites, attachments in replies, faster reply detection.

Hello Bar grows a second surface: on-page widgets alongside the popups.

◆ Current state

Hello Bar builds popups, bars and lead-capture forms for websites, with targeting rules, triggers and email-provider integrations behind them. July was an unusually dense month: a gamification popup builder with spin, scratch and loot-box mechanics, video as a media option, a shared asset library, an expanded Salesforce integration, and a new Widgets category holding a chat launcher and an AI summary button. An automatic scheduling feature, Campaigns, has been announced but is still marked coming soon.

◆ Where it's heading

Two directions are visible. The popup builder is being deepened toward conversion mechanics — reward logic, video media, reusable assets — which is where this category competes. The more interesting one is Widgets, which puts persistent elements on the page that are not popups at all, including a router into WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, Telegram and SMS. Hello Bar is starting to sell presence on the page rather than interruptions on it.

◆ Prediction

Widgets launched with two entries and an explicit framing as a category, so the next move is more widgets rather than more popup types — a review, social proof or booking widget would fit the existing conversion pitch.

◆ Current state

SalesBlink is cold-email outreach software shipping monthly roundups plus one-off announcements. The recent run is dominated by machine access: an MCP server, a CLI, an integration letting Hermes agents run outreach, and now OAuth on the MCP server with 40-plus upgraded tools spanning sequences, leads, inbox, senders and analytics. The rest is polish — Slack alerts over OAuth, branded meeting invites, attachments in replies, faster reply detection.

◆ Where it's heading

The product is being rebuilt so an agent can operate it end to end rather than trigger it. OAuth removes the API-key copy-paste that made MCP setup a chore, a single endpoint replaces per-client configuration, and the tool count suggests most of the app's surface is now callable. Notably the change is breaking: existing API-key MCP connections have stopped working and must be reconnected, which is a cost SalesBlink was willing to impose to get agent access onto a proper auth flow.

◆ Prediction

With OAuth and 40-plus tools in place, the next constraint is what an agent is allowed to do rather than what it can reach, so expect scoped permissions or approval steps on the sending actions before the outreach ones get widely used unattended.
