Hello Bar

Popup, notification bar and lead capture tool for websites

Hello Bar grows a second surface: on-page widgets alongside the popups.

Current state
Hello Bar builds popups, bars and lead-capture forms for websites, with targeting rules, triggers and email-provider integrations behind them. July was an unusually dense month: a gamification popup builder with spin, scratch and loot-box mechanics, video as a media option, a shared asset library, an expanded Salesforce integration, and a new Widgets category holding a chat launcher and an AI summary button. An automatic scheduling feature, Campaigns, has been announced but is still marked coming soon.
Where it's heading
Two directions are visible. The popup builder is being deepened toward conversion mechanics — reward logic, video media, reusable assets — which is where this category competes. The more interesting one is Widgets, which puts persistent elements on the page that are not popups at all, including a router into WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, Telegram and SMS. Hello Bar is starting to sell presence on the page rather than interruptions on it.
Prediction
Widgets launched with two entries and an explicit framing as a category, so the next move is more widgets rather than more popup types — a review, social proof or booking widget would fit the existing conversion pitch.

Introducing Campaigns: Schedule Your Popups Automatically

Scheduling that switches popups on and off on one-time or recurring timetables, announced under a Coming Soon label rather than shipped. Useful when it lands, but nothing is available to users yet.

Salesforce Integration — New Features & Improvements

Salesforce sync gains per-contact-list control over whether submissions create Contacts or Leads, and automatic Campaign Member assignment. It moves the integration from a dumb pipe toward something a Salesforce admin can model properly, which matters for the larger accounts running many popups.

Introducing Widgets: Chat & AI Summary

    ⚡ SPARK

The release that gives Hello Bar a second product surface. It gathers the AI summary button shipped two days earlier under a new category and adds a chat launcher beside it, changing the company's answer to what it puts on a customer's page.

    AI Summarizer Widget

A row of one-click buttons letting readers open an article in ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Perplexity, Gemini or Google AI for summarisation, with provider selection and ordering under the site owner's control. Shipped two days before the Widgets framing that absorbed it, and an early bet that publishers want to route readers into assistants rather than keep them on the page.

🎮 Gamification Popups — Spin & Win, Scratch Card, and Loot Box

A gamification builder with spin-the-wheel, scratch card and loot box layouts, deep visual customisation and reward logic. Substantial by volume and described internally as one of the biggest releases yet, but it extends the popup builder into mechanics competitors already offer rather than opening new ground.

🎬 Add Video to Your Popups

Video as an alternative to a static image in the popup editor, via direct URL or YouTube and Vimeo embeds, with autoplay, mute, loop and control settings. Existing image popups are untouched — an added media option rather than a change of default.
