LiveAgent
LiveAgent 5.71 starts letting bots work chats over MCP and answer the phones.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Frill and ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Frill wants to read your support tickets so nobody has to file ideas by hand.
Frill's recent work takes the feedback board to where conversations already happen: an MCP server on every plan for retrieval, a Chrome extension with AI summaries for capture, and assignees inside the board. The newest item, AI Inbox, is announced but not shipped; it would watch support tickets, Slack threads and sales calls, pull out feature requests and bugs, and merge duplicates into existing ideas.
ServiceDesk Plus brings its Zoho-hosted Zia LLM to the Saudi Arabia data center.
ServiceDesk Plus runs a frequent, maintenance-heavy release cadence of fixes and small administrative changes. Its newest entry is a regional one: Zia, the Zoho-hosted LLM, is now available in the Saudi Arabia data center. The prior weeks brought welcome emails decoupled from SAML, tighter purchase-order approval and undocumented pre-release markers.

Each release removes a manual step between a customer saying something and an idea existing in Frill. The extension made capture one click; AI Inbox would make it zero clicks, with Frill reading the channels itself. The board is becoming the store that agents fill and query, and less the place people visit.
Expect AI Inbox to open to early teams with a short list of named sources, likely the help desks and Slack already referenced across these notes; how it is priced, given MCP shipped on every plan, is the open question.

Most visible work still tightens access controls and stabilizes existing modules. The Zia rollout is the first AI item in this window and suggests hosted-LLM availability is being extended by region, though one entry is a thin basis for that.
Another dated batch of fixes is the most likely next entry. These entries don't show whether Zia reaches further data centers.
