Tracecat
Tracecat cuts 1.1.0 stable with sandbox limits mandatory and search behind a paywall.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Asana and Wiki.js — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Asana pairs its governance push with a planning fix users did by hand: subtask date rollups.
Asana's recent releases split between control-plane work and planning mechanics. Subtask Date Rollups now set a parent task's start and due dates from its subtasks, including nested ones, on demand or across many parents at once. Before that came automation rules running on their owner's current permissions, a reorganized Admin Console with AI as its own section, HIPAA for Asana Gov and threaded comments.
Wiki.js 3 beta.639 adds a glossary that auto-links terms across pages.
Wiki.js 3 is still labelled beta and not for production, while v2.x gets only security patches. The v3 betas have stacked up enterprise identity (Entra, LDAP, SAML, SCIM), Excalidraw with live collaboration, blog pages, a v2 import path, notifications, RTL, annotations and a redesigned Talk view. beta.639 adds a glossary with auto-linking, a block-links-grid content block, child listings on folder pages, and hex-encoded ltree paths so non-Latin page paths work.

The summer sparks (AI Teammates, agent-built rules, Slack @mention capture) widened what Asana can do; the fall has been about making that safe to deploy and keeping core planning data accurate. Rollups matter here because AI Teammates and automations read task dates, so correct parent dates make both scheduling and status answers more reliable.
Expect rollups to become triggerable by rules or kept in sync automatically rather than run manually, and admin-level controls for AI Teammates to land in the new Admin Console AI section.

The big platform pieces are in; recent betas fill in knowledge-structuring features (glossary, folder listings, link grids) and internationalization fixes. The steady ~weekly cadence from a single maintainer keeps adding surface rather than freezing scope, which pushes a stable 3.0 further out.
Expect the work-in-progress glossary and the new library menu to be finished in the next one or two betas. The entries still give no date for a release candidate.
