The design sector spent this week making the same admission out loud: the model is not the product. Picsart wired in V4 Styles, WAN 3.0, and Grok Imagine 2; ComfyUI added day-zero support for Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash and Wan 3.0; Recraft rented Seedance 2.5 into Studio. Boords shipped a Script Editor, the first release that widens what the product is rather than polishing the storyboard around it. Scripts become a first-class object with live runtime counts, account-free client review reused verbatim from June's storyboard flow, and a one-click conversion that builds a frame per scene. A Boords project now spans script approval through frame generation without leaving the tool.

Webflow became available inside Codex, making the visual canvas that has been the entire product for a decade one of two places the work can happen — the other with no canvas at all.
