The direction is an agent surface built on top of a structured work graph rather than a chat box bolted onto a tracker. PQL is the connective tissue — the same query language answers a dashboard widget and an AI question, so the agent reads the same data model the user does. Skills and publishable MCP apps then let that behaviour be saved and shared instead of re-prompted, which is what turns a feature into a platform.
◆ Prediction
Skills and MCP publishing are both packaging mechanisms shipped within two months of each other, so the gap they leave is distribution — somewhere to find and install what other teams have built. Whether Plane fills it is not indicated by these entries.

The AI Maintenance Helper is the first place RentRedi has put a model in front of tenants rather than behind an admin screen, and it is scoped carefully — the AI drafts, the human keeps control. Screening economics are also becoming configurable, with landlords able to absorb fees applicants used to pay.

Expect the AI intake pattern to spread to other tenant-submitted flows, most plausibly applications or messaging, since the maintenance helper establishes the suggest-then-confirm interaction. The portfolio layer looks like the natural home for further reporting.
