PhotoPrism now lets AI assistants search your photo library over MCP.
PhotoPrism's 29 October release adds OAuth for outside apps and MCP tools so AI assistants can search and browse a library within account permissions, enabled by default and switchable per account. It also adds experimental PostgreSQL support with a database transfer command and an export dialog. September brought new face detection and embedding models plus private and hidden people; October 7 moved classification and NSFW detection to ONNX with GPU support and dropped custom TensorFlow models.
Trilium rebuilt its kanban board, then shipped an urgent server security fix.
Trilium 0.106.0 rebuilt the kanban board with column icons, limits, collapsing, archiving, an inbox column, card templates, regrouping, sorting and filtering, and arrived on Flathub. 0.106.1 is a security release for server and Docker images, updating Node.js for a Brotli decoder flaw reachable before authentication and the revoked eMudhra certificate authorities. A web clipper 1.2.0 candidate adds a preview card and per-mode clipping, partly dependent on the unreleased 0.107.

The vision stack is now fully ONNX and GPU-capable, and the library itself is becoming something other tools can query. PostgreSQL support breaks the long MariaDB/SQLite limit for larger installs.
PostgreSQL leaving experimental status and MCP gaining more than read-only search are the likely next steps, given both arrived in first form here.

After 0.105 made the database restorable and manageable, Trilium is back to deepening note types, with the board turning into a light project tracker. The clipper work shows capture from the browser becoming a first-class input.
0.107.0 is the next release, since the clipper already depends on it; PDF saving from the clipper is one confirmed feature.
