Fibery moves AI Connectors to free beta two weeks after preview, with MCP creation on the way.
Fibery's October 29 release moves AI Connectors from experimental to beta and calls them ready for general use. They are free for now, and Fibery says moderate usage may stay free, with a pricing decision due by year end. The release also adds a block menu and multi-block selection in rich text, per-screen URLs for Custom Apps, tab moves between desktop windows, and Fibery whiteboards in ChatGPT through the MCP server.
Wakapi tightens API key scope and fixes double-counted AI agent time.
Wakapi's 2.18 line opened with security and data fixes: API keys now authorize only /api endpoints (a breaking change), permission checks on the filtered stats endpoint were fixed, and AI agent thinking time was being counted twice, which needs summary regeneration to correct. 2.18.1 fixed slow SQLite charts and an unresponsive server during aggregation, and 2.18.2 adds a heartbeats index that can take hours to build on large tables.

Fibery is making AI the main builder and operator of the workspace: the agent, Custom Apps, AI-generated connectors and an MCP server that now handles code execution, files and whiteboards. Features are moving from preview to general use within weeks, and the weekly cadence alternates big AI releases with quality-of-life updates.
Fibery says MCP support for creating AI Connectors is coming, so expect that next. Connector pricing should settle by year end, most likely around sync frequency, since it names 5-15 minute syncs as the case that could change costs.

Identity and access remain the theme: OIDC login, OIDC-only mode, multiple API keys, the critical auth bypass fix in 2.17.6, and now narrower key scope. Performance work for large heartbeat tables is emerging alongside it. Release notes are still often bare issue numbers.
Expect 2.18.x patches addressing database migrations, given the MariaDB failure noted in 2.18.1; the notes don't show what a 2.19 would contain.
