What is Ever Teams?
Three tags in one day: a workspace UI rewrite, then two rounds of repairing it.
v0.136.0 landed a workspace UI modernization, and the same day produced v0.136.1 and v0.136.2 correcting it — global admins locked out of reports, settings scroll height lost, avatars rendering empty or mangled when the image source is route-relative or a Blob. The preceding tags follow the same shape: v0.135.0 added build versions to the footer and spent six commits fixing that footer, and v0.134.0's demand-driven startup rewrite carried a long run of preservation fixes across auth, transport and scoped state.
What is SmartSuite?
SmartSuite adds a scheduled JavaScript runtime with secrets and run history.
SmartSuite is a no-code work management platform that is adding developer and agent surfaces. Script Engine, a new admin page, lets workspaces write, schedule and monitor JavaScript with memory and timeout limits, secrets by reference and per-run history. It builds on Managed Secrets, released two weeks earlier, and the hosted MCP server from early October.
Ever Teams vs SmartSuite: editorial side-by-side
Three tags in one day: a workspace UI rewrite, then two rounds of repairing it.
◆ Current state
v0.136.0 landed a workspace UI modernization, and the same day produced v0.136.1 and v0.136.2 correcting it — global admins locked out of reports, settings scroll height lost, avatars rendering empty or mangled when the image source is route-relative or a Blob. The preceding tags follow the same shape: v0.135.0 added build versions to the footer and spent six commits fixing that footer, and v0.134.0's demand-driven startup rewrite carried a long run of preservation fixes across auth, transport and scoped state.
◆ Where it's heading
The release train mints a version number per merged pull request, so the tag count tracks development activity rather than user-visible change. The work underneath is real — a startup rewrite in v0.134.0, a workspace UI pass in v0.136.0 — but each lands incomplete and is repaired within hours. The account-scoped assistant history and hardened localized assistant controls in v0.136.0 are the first sign of the in-app assistant being treated as per-account state rather than a shared surface.
◆ Prediction
Expect further 0.136.x patches as review findings against the new workspace UI surface. The assistant scoping work suggests that surface is next in line for the same pass.
SmartSuite adds a scheduled JavaScript runtime with secrets and run history.

It builds on Managed Secrets, released two weeks earlier, and the hosted MCP server from early October.
◆ Where it's heading
SmartSuite is becoming programmable on three fronts: a hosted MCP server for agents, managed secrets, and now a scheduled code runtime. Together they let teams run integrations inside the platform instead of in Zapier or external cron jobs. Mobile dashboard parity and admin recovery tools continue alongside.
◆ Prediction
Expect scripts to gain record-event triggers beyond schedules, and links between Script Engine and the automation builder.
