What is Culture Amp?

Culture Amp deepens surveys and self-service while extending its AI Coach

Culture Amp's releases split across three lanes: its AI Coach gained Voice Mode (dictation plus a conversational, interruptible mode for role-play); the survey platform got a rebuilt two-panel designer, rating-based question branching, and manager-feedback reporting; and admins got self-service SAML/SSO configuration rolled out to all accounts. Cascading Goals also landed in the window.

What is Tanda?

Tanda is shipping small, constantly, and most of this week's work is in reporting and payroll plumbing.

Tanda releases in a near-daily drip of narrow, well-scoped changes. The current cluster is dominated by reporting — custom reports can now be shared org-wide, columns and rows reorder and stay put, and a batch of new columns and filters landed across the payroll and rostering reports. Payroll gained unit-based earnings rates and a PAPDIS 1.1 export for UK pension providers, while the roster page got an admin toggle to hide unused features.

Culture Amp vs Tanda: editorial side-by-side

C5.0

Culture Amp deepens surveys and self-service while extending its AI Coach

◆ Current state

Culture Amp's releases split across three lanes: its AI Coach gained Voice Mode (dictation plus a conversational, interruptible mode for role-play); the survey platform got a rebuilt two-panel designer, rating-based question branching, and manager-feedback reporting; and admins got self-service SAML/SSO configuration rolled out to all accounts. Cascading Goals also landed in the window.

◆ Where it's heading

The company is modernizing its core survey and engagement tooling while steadily building AI Coach into a more natural, practice-oriented assistant. The self-service SSO push reduces support dependency and signals enterprise-readiness investment.

◆ Prediction

Expect more AI Coach surface area now that voice enables richer role-play, and continued migration of admin tasks to self-service.

T8.8

Tanda is shipping small, constantly, and most of this week's work is in reporting and payroll plumbing.

◆ Current state

Tanda releases in a near-daily drip of narrow, well-scoped changes. The current cluster is dominated by reporting — custom reports can now be shared org-wide, columns and rows reorder and stay put, and a batch of new columns and filters landed across the payroll and rostering reports. Payroll gained unit-based earnings rates and a PAPDIS 1.1 export for UK pension providers, while the roster page got an admin toggle to hide unused features.

◆ Where it's heading

The work is configuration depth rather than new surface: give admins switches, give reports structure, and cover country-specific payroll obligations as they come up. The UK pension export and the Australia-only SMS sender ID in the same week show a product widening regionally through compliance details, not through a single expansion push. The new roster layout is becoming the assumed baseline, since features are now being built only for it.

◆ Prediction

Expect more of the same cadence — additional per-region payroll exports and further admin-level controls over what the new roster layout shows, with the older layout drifting further behind.
