Across engine, protocol, REST, gRPC, the Java client and the exporters, Camunda added late assignment via CompleteJob, forward-propagation semantics, resolution into child instances at call activity, deploy-time validation of the businessId attribute on zeebe:calledElement, and exposure in FEEL expressions. Underneath it, agent-instance data now gets cleaned up at the end of a process instance lifecycle and loop counters were renamed across agent instance history.

The shipping rhythm is dense and unglamorous — six releases in three weeks, each tightening one seam of a property-operations platform. Expect 8.10 to reach general availability with the business ID work complete across all three client surfaces, and the RBAC mapping to become the basis for generated authorization documentation or tooling. The first is a permissions and compliance layer — granular financial visibility, guest-collected billing details for Spanish and Italian e-invoicing, credentials that stop being visible after a stay. The second is coverage: 254-unit multi-unit listings, richer Booking.com cancellation webhooks, all custom formulas in owner statements. Hostaway is building the plumbing that lets one account serve property managers, owners, guests, and API consumers without leaking data across them, and AI CoHost is being fed that same reservation and fee data so it can answer operational questions instead of generic ones.
◆ Prediction
The Guest Portal redesign is stated outright as coming, and French e-invoicing is already named as next in the compliance queue. Expect CoHost to keep absorbing whatever data the new permission model can safely scope to it.
