What is Bandwidth?

Bandwidth sells trust in the call, and self-service everywhere it used to sell tickets.

The release stream splits cleanly in two: one entry that adds a product line and a run of entries that remove reasons to open a support ticket. Identity Presentation, in beta since mid-August, is the product line — branded, authenticated caller identity rendered on the handset. Everything since has been console and self-service work: RCS test-number management, Voice API debug logs surfaced in Voice Insights, port-in FOC changes and cancellations up to ten minutes before the port, MOS scores in the app, and now 10DLC campaign registration moving out of API-only access into the Bandwidth App alongside brand sharing across accounts.

What is Zoho Mail?

Zoho Mail is turning the inbox into a workspace and selling it through AWS

Zoho Mail's recent releases pull in two directions. One is scope: Web Tabs embed the websites and tools people keep alongside email directly in the client, ZeptoMail's transactional sending now connects to the same platform, and an MCP server exposes the inbox to assistants. The other is enterprise administration — email journaling for long-term records, incoming and outgoing rules positioned as fraud control, and an SE Labs security award. The newest entry is neither: a listing on AWS Marketplace so Premium can be bought and billed through an AWS account.

B6.3

Bandwidth sells trust in the call, and self-service everywhere it used to sell tickets.

◆ Current state

The release stream splits cleanly in two: one entry that adds a product line and a run of entries that remove reasons to open a support ticket. Identity Presentation, in beta since mid-August, is the product line — branded, authenticated caller identity rendered on the handset. Everything since has been console and self-service work: RCS test-number management, Voice API debug logs surfaced in Voice Insights, port-in FOC changes and cancellations up to ten minutes before the port, MOS scores in the app, and now 10DLC campaign registration moving out of API-only access into the Bandwidth App alongside brand sharing across accounts.

◆ Where it's heading

The registration surfaces are converging on a single console. 10DLC and RCS both have Registration Centers, both reached the app within a week of each other, and both took the same API-first, UI-second order — integrators served first, operators after. The reseller item is the more consequential half of this release: sharing brands natively across accounts treats the multi-account hierarchy as a first-class structure rather than something customers duplicate records to work around, which matters for the wholesale and reseller business that carrier-adjacent vendors depend on.

◆ Prediction

Expect the remaining registration and porting workflows to follow the same API-then-UI path into the Bandwidth App, and the RCS Registration Center to pick up the cross-account brand sharing that 10DLC just received. Whether Identity Presentation leaves beta is the open question these entries do not answer.

Z6.3

Zoho Mail is turning the inbox into a workspace and selling it through AWS

◆ Current state

Zoho Mail's recent releases pull in two directions. One is scope: Web Tabs embed the websites and tools people keep alongside email directly in the client, ZeptoMail's transactional sending now connects to the same platform, and an MCP server exposes the inbox to assistants. The other is enterprise administration — email journaling for long-term records, incoming and outgoing rules positioned as fraud control, and an SE Labs security award. The newest entry is neither: a listing on AWS Marketplace so Premium can be bought and billed through an AWS account.

◆ Where it's heading

The product is being built outward from the mailbox rather than deeper into it. Web Tabs is the clearest statement — Zoho would rather be the surface you never leave than the best client you switch away from — and the ZeptoMail connection folds the machine-generated half of a company's email into the same platform. The AWS Marketplace listing addresses a different obstacle entirely: enterprises whose software procurement runs through Marketplace could not buy this without a separate purchasing process.

◆ Prediction

Expect more consolidation of adjacent Zoho services into the mail surface, following the ZeptoMail pattern, and further administrative controls aimed at buyers evaluating a Microsoft 365 migration.
