Axure wires its cloud canvas into the AI coding loop with an alpha MCP server
Axure has grown from its RP prototyping desktop app into Axure Cloud, a collaborative canvas with whiteboards and documents (out of beta in late 2025). Recent releases build out that cloud surface — libraries, custom templates, PDF export, tablet support — and have begun wiring in AI: document AI chat, and now an alpha MCP server that exposes whiteboard and document context to coding agents.
Four frontier models in five days — ComfyUI's edge is the speed of the graft, not the models.
ComfyUI absorbed four frontier video and image models in the first week of August: Wan Animate 2, Seedance 2.5, FLUX 3, and day-0 support for MiniMax H3. Two arrived as Partner Nodes, the vendor-integration path that now carries most of the release cadence. The one structural change in the window is Comfy For Teams, a shared-stack tier that puts a whole team on the same node graph and dependency set.

The arc is turning Axure Cloud into a full collaborative design-and-docs workspace and connecting it to the AI toolchain. Libraries and templates standardize team assets; the MCP alpha and document AI chat point Axure at the design-to-code and agentic workflow. A meaningful share of the cadence is still stabilization and polish on the young cloud canvas.
Expect Axure to harden the MCP integration toward general availability and expand AI in documents and whiteboards, while rounding out cloud-canvas basics like custom colors, libraries, and export. The pull is toward being a context provider for AI coding tools, not only a prototyping app.

The model-adoption cadence has stopped being news — it is the baseline the project is measured against, and the entries read as a supply feed rather than a roadmap. Where the product is actually moving is up the stack: Comfy MCP made the graph drivable by agents, and Comfy For Teams attaches a paid, multi-seat surface to it. Comfy is converting a local tool with a fast integration pipeline into shared infrastructure someone pays for.
Expect the next new capability to be a team- or org-level control rather than another model — shared workflows, pinned node versions, or managed Partner Node credentials. The entries carry no pricing detail, so how far the Teams tier reaches is still unclear.
