Frame.io has been tightening its integration with Adobe's Firefly ecosystem—first pulling Firefly Board assets into Frame.io, now pushing Frame.io assets directly into the Firefly Video Editor for browser-based editing. The addition of Transcription speaker renaming, versioning improvements for Mounted Storage, and Drive v1.11.0 reflect a product simultaneously deepening native review capability and serving as the connective tissue in the Adobe Creative Cloud workflow.

The pattern is clear: Frame.io is becoming the hub where review and editing meet, rather than a standalone review platform. The Firefly Video Editor integration (open any video in the browser editor with one click) is the most directional move—it positions Frame.io as a workflow accelerator within Adobe CC rather than a tool teams choose alongside it. The Drive updates (resizable sidebar, improved error surfaces) suggest an active base of users who mount Frame.io as network storage.
