◆Current state
Astra is a mature WordPress theme on a tight release schedule, with most updates going to security patches, WooCommerce fixes and compatibility. Astra Pro 4.13.11 hardens Modern Checkout, Site Builder and Page Headers, refreshes the bundled sanitizer, makes custom layouts more flexible and improves Mega Menu screen-reader support. Free 4.14.1 is a polish release, including a fix for pages cut off mid-load.
◆Where it's heading
Astra is in sustained maintenance-and-polish mode. Security hardening appears in nearly every release, and WooCommerce integration gets steady attention. The feature work is small and spread across design tooling: custom Global Palette colors in 4.14.0, now more flexible custom layouts in Pro.
◆Prediction
Expect further security patches and WooCommerce fixes on both free and Pro, with small design-tooling additions; the entries do not show a larger feature in progress.
