Teable
Teable turns saved queries into versioned, shareable API objects.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Archbee and Wiki.js — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Archbee is tightening the controls around docs it already publishes, not changing what docs are.
Archbee's recent entries are small, concrete additions to its documentation editor and publishing layer: RSS feeds for hybrid and password-protected spaces, export straight from the editor, team-level SAML and OIDC inheritance, and branch history and navigation fixes. Public docs can now return Markdown responses, and PDF output gained navigable bookmarks. None of it changes the product's category; it reduces friction for teams already running docs on it.
Wiki.js 3 beta.661 adds draft recovery and fixes git sync across replicas.
Wiki.js 3 is still labelled beta and not for production; v2.x gets only security patches. The v3 betas have built up enterprise identity (Entra, LDAP, SAML, SCIM), Excalidraw with live collaboration, blog pages, a v2 import path, notifications, RTL and a glossary. beta.661 keeps unsaved edits in browser storage with a restore prompt, adds a slash menu to the visual editor, and fixes git sync on deployments running multiple replicas.

Two threads stand out. Branching keeps getting attention (history, navigation, per-branch icons), which points to docs managed like code with review before publish. Access control is moving up to the team level, so larger organizations can administer many spaces without repeating SSO setup for each one.
Expect more branch-workflow and team-admin work; the Markdown responses for public docs hint at machine-readable output, but the entries are too thin to say whether that grows into a larger feature.

The platform features are in place and the last four betas have gone into editor polish, identity attributes, admin tooling and multi-instance reliability. The git-sync replica fix follows the earlier job-scheduler fan-out fix, so horizontally scaled installs are getting attention ahead of a stable release. A single maintainer ships a beta every two to five days.
More betas aimed at editor ergonomics and multi-replica correctness are the likely next step. The entries still give no date for a release candidate.
