Purchasely 6.2 lets apps send their own events and open campaigns from them
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Adapty and Bill.com — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Adapty closes its old paywall builder and sells the annual plan as twelve payments
Adapty finished moving customers onto one builder. The old Paywall and Onboarding Builders were deprecated on October 1, Paywalls now sit inside Flows & Paywalls, and cross-placement A/B tests and Figma import now work with flows. The newest release is a pricing option: a yearly plan sold as 12 monthly payments that users cannot cancel mid-year, which Adapty says lifts revenue per subscriber by up to 50%. It works on native iOS only for now. Two new events, trial_active and subscription_active, send integrations a stronger signal about users who stayed.
BILL turns multi-entity into its main theme, while AI moves into the AP inbox and month-end close.
BILL's autumn releases concentrate on businesses running several related companies. Spend & Expense now supports multi-entity accounts on one credit application and shared credit line, and vendor credits can be handled across entities from the parent. AI work continues in the AP inbox, which now identifies incoming documents, and in close, with smarter coding, a period close mode and approver reminders.

The August agent work now has a single target: flows are the one surface for agents, Figma import and A/B tests alike, with parity items closing the remaining gaps to the legacy builder. Monetization keeps broadening past plain subscriptions, from virtual currencies to committed monthly billing. Data work is moving the same way, with flow events exposing every screen and input, and revenue by flow listed as still to come.
Adapty says flows support and cross-platform SDKs for the 12-month plan are coming in November, and custom tags plus light and dark images are listed as coming to flows. Those are the next releases to expect.

The product is moving up-market through structure as much as through AI. Multi-entity support gives BILL a reason to stay as a customer adds companies, and it now reaches both AP and spend. The AI thread stays narrow and practical: sorting, coding and flagging work that staff used to do by hand, with the review step left in place.
BILL calls document recognition a first step toward an inbox that understands documents, so expect more automated handling inside AP. Further multi-entity coverage is also likely, since it has now landed in two product lines within two weeks.
