Separately, a component-metadata layer is forming in core (ComponentMetaManager, manifest component API fields, shared CSF story-shape helpers), which reads like groundwork for tooling that consumes Storybook's metadata rather than its UI. TanStack Start is being treated as a first-class router target rather than an edge case.

The Angular extraction looks close to done, so expect the remaining alphas to shift toward stabilizing the manifest and metadata APIs before a 10.6 beta.
