This batch closes loops rather than opening them: declining or handing away a shift can now create a temporary unavailability so the employee is not offered it again, saved custom reports can be shared read-only with colleagues, job ads can start from a saved template, and password logins require a code sent by email. On the payroll side, going live now notifies only the locations you choose, and four new pay run statuses replace what used to be a silent failure.

The month's pattern is Tanda tightening the joins between its own modules — hiring into onboarding, rostering into payroll — and removing places where the system failed quietly. AI has entered through Hire, where candidates are ranked against a written description of the role, rather than through the rostering core where Tanda's expertise actually sits. A visual refresh is running underneath the feature work, with Locations, Teams, stat types and the sales pages all converted to the newer look.

Hire is the likeliest place for the next real capability, extending candidate scoring into screening questions or interview scheduling, while rostering and payroll continue the incremental close-the-gaps cadence visible here.
