WPForms
WPForms fills its feed with tutorials while signposting a v2.0 it has not shipped here.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Sender and Formaloo — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Sender is filling out from a budget email tool into a fuller marketing platform, now reaching into transactional sends.
Sender ships roughly monthly and has spent the past two quarters closing the feature gaps that separate it from pricier marketing platforms. December brought transactional emails — its first move beyond pure marketing sends — alongside a rebuilt dashboard; since then it has refreshed the email builder, added brand settings, and pushed ecommerce reports down to the Standard plan. Several feed entries are tutorials and best-practice posts rather than releases.
Formaloo now lets you describe a form's logic instead of building it rule by rule.
Formaloo ships one large changelog roughly monthly, and 2026 has been a run of platform-level work: workspace Themes replacing per-form design, a Usage page with credit-based add-ons, Data Blocks rebuilt, workspace-wide timezones, Teams and access levels. July is the sharpest turn — Magic Logic generates a form's conditions, scoring and routing from a plain-English description, and Magic Voice lets respondents fill a form by speaking. Both sit alongside Magic Create, which builds a form from an uploaded PDF or photo, and Magic Design, which generates a theme from a sentence.

The direction is breadth at an accessible price: landing pages, transactional email, ecommerce events and reports, all aimed at small ecommerce senders who'd otherwise stitch together multiple tools. Moving features down to lower plans points to a land-and-expand pricing strategy. Expect more ecommerce-trigger automation and continued parity-building with the Mailchimp/Brevo tier.
The next likely moves are deeper ecommerce automation — event-driven flows building on Custom Events — and further transactional and deliverability features now that that surface exists.

AI is being pushed into every step of the form lifecycle: create it from a document, design it by description, write its logic from a sentence, fill it by voice. The construction of Magic Logic is the interesting part — it reads the existing form, prints every rule it intends to create as one plain sentence per line, and applies nothing until you approve, which is the right shape for a system where a wrong rule silently misroutes respondents. The non-AI releases point the same way commercially: enterprise sidebar controls, portal domain restrictions, purchasable credits, timezone-correct audit trails.
Magic Logic explicitly refuses to create fields, pages or ending pages that do not already exist and reports them instead. Lifting that restriction — one description producing the form and its logic together — is the gap the release itself names.
