Post-V5 releases are spent making the AI agency actually usable rather than adding to it.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Roadmunk and Tability — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Roadmapping tool in slow, presentation-focused upkeep with a scrambled release feed
The feed is hard to read: entries are titled by one month but published in another, several bodies carry navigation scaffolding rather than content, and releases from mid-2025 appear alongside 2026 ones. What can be read is consistent — company palettes admins can define as read-only for consistent branding, a simplified palette list, larger roadmap column headers, a format panel for Idea Manager matrix views, roadmap list navigation, and a reworked left navbar.
Tability is handing OKR upkeep to agents, with the manager kept in the approval seat.
Tability shipped a single dated train on August 6 covering agent delegation, an AI spreadsheet importer, wider AI Mode context, and a Skills Library for Claude and ChatGPT. Underneath that sits the KPI module introduced in mid-July, which split business-as-usual metrics away from OKRs and gave them their own permissions, views, and import path. The product now has two tracked object types and is layering AI onto the labor of maintaining both.

Development is concentrated on how roadmaps look and how quickly you find one, not on planning capability. Admin-defined company palettes are the most substantive item, and they serve organizations standardizing presentation across many roadmaps. There is no sign in this window of the idea intake, prioritization or integration work that would move the product's core.
The visible cadence and the presentation focus suggest more theming and navigation work, but the feed's dating is unreliable enough that a confident prediction about timing is not supportable.

Every recent addition attacks the same weakness in goal-tracking tools: the data goes stale because updating it is nobody's job. Tability's answer is to let agents do the gathering and drafting while routing proposals, decisions, access requests, and blockers back to a human before anything commits. The Skills Library and MCP integration point outward — the company appears content for the actual reasoning to happen in Claude or ChatGPT while Tability holds the structured record.
The delegation flow is the piece with room to run; expect agents to move from preparing work to posting check-ins and flagging at-risk goals on a schedule, with the KPI module as the data source. Whether the Skills Library grows or gets absorbed into the agent flow is the open question the entries do not settle.
