And the product is starting to grow the account-level features an organisation buys rather than a developer adopts — SSO now, after pay-as-you-go pricing and suppression visibility earlier in the year. The two strands are the same motion at different altitudes: bottom-up adoption, then the controls that let it survive procurement.

SSO rarely arrives alone; expect SCIM provisioning, role definitions and audit logging to follow, since the API-key and permissions surface is already there to build them on.

The product is being shaped around authenticated, scripted API checks rather than simple uptime pings, and the pieces arriving are the ones that make a monitor look like a real client — token signing, per-call authentication, sub-minute frequency. The second direction is outward: OpenTelemetry export lets monitoring results land in Elastic, New Relic, Splunk, Prometheus or ITRS alongside application and infrastructure telemetry, and the Terraform Hub can emit import blocks for individual resources. Both point at customers who already run an observability stack and want Uptrends inside it rather than beside it.
◆ Prediction
Expect the Enterprise tier to keep receiving the sharper capabilities first, since both the 30-second interval and OpenTelemetry export shipped that way, and expect further authentication methods for multi-step API monitors given the run from bearer tokens through JWT functions.
