Indexer proxy API for torrent and usenet trackers

A daily-shipping indexer proxy whose entire product is a scraper definition file that never stops rotting.

Current state
Jackett ships a tagged release essentially every day, and every one of them is the same shape: tracker selectors updated, domains bumped, categories added, dead sites removed. The release notes are auto-generated commit lists with no prose. The C# application itself is stable; what changes is the YAML definition corpus that keeps a few hundred torrent trackers reachable through a single Torznab endpoint.
Where it's heading
This is maintenance-as-product, and the cadence is a symptom rather than a sign of momentum: trackers move domains, add anti-bot checks, and change markup, so the definitions decay continuously and the fix rate has to match. The visible trend across these releases is attrition — torr9, rockbox, rain, runtheframes, torrentleech-pl and elitetorrent-wf all removed in a single fortnight — partially offset by category expansion on the trackers that survive.
Prediction
Expect the daily definition-churn cadence to continue unchanged, with the removal list growing faster than the addition list. Nothing in these entries indicates work on the application core.

Definition updates: magnetcat selectors, torrentavenue renamed

A typical day on the treadmill — new selectors for magnetcat, a tracker rename to torrenthaven, selector and category updates elsewhere, one domain bump. No change to Jackett itself.

Definition updates: hdgalaktik and tmghub selectors, freeleech handling

Eight definition commits: new selectors for two trackers, a site using custom freeleech values, category additions, and a lowercase-search fix. Pure corpus maintenance in the pattern this product ships daily.

pornotorrent moves to native Torznab API, nethd adds TV support

The rare definition batch with a structural change: one tracker is switched from HTML scraping to the site's own Torznab API, which removes it from the selector-rot cycle entirely, and another gains TV category support. This is the direction that reduces the maintenance load rather than paying it down one day at a time.

torr9 removed, engine tags and domains refreshed

Attrition plus upkeep — one tracker removed outright, several engine tags updated, a new TLD for kinozal, banned-user detection for torrentlt, and a CI dependency bump. Nothing user-facing beyond which trackers still resolve.

Three trackers removed, btschool gains sort settings

The clearest single snapshot of the attrition trend: rain, runtheframes and elitetorrent-wf all dropped in one release, one for blocking. The additions are minor — sort settings, nuked detection, an API URL prefix change.

rockbox removed, TPB top100 selection becomes configurable

A four-commit release: one tracker retired, two category expansions, and a config setting for which Pirate Bay top-100 list to pull. Small enough to show how thin an individual Jackett release is.
