What is Meltwater?

Meltwater ties brand visibility inside AI answers to actual traffic and revenue.

GenAI Lens — Meltwater's tracker for how brands surface inside LLM answers — is now the most active line in the changelog, adding Microsoft Copilot coverage and a Google Analytics connection in consecutive releases. Around it, the AI work is spread across the suite: a Story Flow agent in Mira Studio that traces how a narrative spread, a rebuilt sentiment widget on a standardized insight framework, and a faster Search Assistant with chat history and query comparison. The remaining releases widen inputs and outputs — News trends in Trends Center, more creator platforms in AI Discovery, and bulk export of saved searches through the API.

What is Saleshandy?

A cold-email tool spent one quarter buying its way into telephony, data and sending infrastructure.

Between March and August, Saleshandy shipped a built-in dialer with recordings, transcripts and purchasable US and Canada numbers; a Chrome click-to-call extension; CSV and personal-email enrichment inside Lead Finder; a CLI; a LinkedIn automation step that pushes prospects to Aimfox or HeyReach; rebuilt API docs with API access extended to the Starter plan; multi-step CRM workflows with branching; and a unified Email Infrastructure product with three sending environments including a dedicated-IP Azure tier. The most recent release adds enrollment pacing to protect sender reputation.

7.5

Meltwater ties brand visibility inside AI answers to actual traffic and revenue.

◆ Current state

◆ Where it's heading

Meltwater is treating LLM answers as a media channel to be measured like any other, and the Google Analytics link is the step that makes it accountable rather than descriptive. The pattern across the rest of the product is the same monitoring stack extended to new surfaces — Copilot alongside other AI platforms, News alongside TikTok, X, and Instagram in one Trends view. Agent features are being placed at the interpretation layer, generating cited briefs and structured analysis rather than just retrieving matching content.

◆ Prediction

The obvious next move is extending the Google Analytics pattern to other AI platforms and to conversion paths beyond sessions, since the attribution plumbing now exists. Expect GenAI Lens to keep absorbing whichever assistants gain consumer share, with citation-source data as the differentiator against simpler AI-visibility trackers.

2.5

A cold-email tool spent one quarter buying its way into telephony, data and sending infrastructure.

◆ Current state

◆ Where it's heading

This is a deliberate expansion from sequence tool to full outbound stack, and each addition takes revenue that previously left for someone else — a dialer instead of Aircall, enrichment instead of Apollo, mailbox infrastructure instead of a reseller, workflows instead of Zapier. The credit-metered enrichment and per-environment infrastructure plans indicate the business model is shifting from seats toward consumption. The pacing and deliverability work is the counterweight: more sending volume in-house means Saleshandy now owns the reputation risk it used to pass on.

◆ Prediction

With sending, calling, enrichment and CRM automation all in-house, the remaining gap is unified reporting across those channels, which the notes do not yet cover. Expect further consumption-priced surfaces given how enrichment and infrastructure are packaged.
