Asana
Asana is spending its fall on governance: permissions, compliance, and admin plumbing.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Fibery and Huly — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Fibery is letting AI build the entity page itself, not just the apps around it.
Fibery ships weekly, and most releases now extend Custom Apps, its AI-built interface layer that went public in August. Over two months that layer was added to rich text, rebuilt on a versioned platform and opened to external agents via MCP. With this release it can replace the default entity view. A rebuilt single-agent AI with a model picker, AI-readable whiteboards and suggestion mode bring AI into more of the workspace.
Huly ships near-weekly builds, but its release notes say almost nothing about what changed.
Huly's GitHub releases are a steady run of s0.7.x tags, roughly one every few days through July, each published as a bare 'merge develop' note. The only titled entries are a package update and a test fix. Readers get a cadence signal, not a feature signal.

The product is moving from configurable views toward views you describe in a prompt. Users and external agents (Claude, Codex via MCP) build the interface, and Fibery supplies the data model and permissions. The cost side keeps showing up too: usage dashboards, extra-usage billing and new per-workspace AI credit caps show that AI consumption is now something Fibery has to manage commercially.
Expect App Views and Custom Apps to spread into more surfaces (templates, sharing, field-usage tracking) and further AI credit pricing changes as usage grows. Whether suggestion mode will cover tables and embeds depends on user feedback, which the team says it is waiting for.

The tag stream shows active development on the 0.7 line, but the releases record no user-facing changes, so the direction of the product cannot be read from them. The feed also goes quiet after 1 August, which is either a pause in tagging or a move to a different release channel.
The entries do not support a confident call on Huly's next feature; the clearest observable signal would be whether s0.7.x tagging resumes after the August gap.
