The 8.10 alpha 5 train ran through three release candidates before the final tag, and that tag is overwhelmingly a bug-fix roll-up: Raft reconfiguration deadlocks, partition join handshakes stranding a leader, snapshot bootstrap crossing physical tenants, and a long tail of Operate, Optimize and Tasklist defects. The only enhancements named are exposing withLease in the Spring Boot SDK and moving cross-partition holder completion off lock-release polling. Two of the tags in this window are not releases at all but a paired benchmark branch measuring long-poll job activation.

Expect the Kubernetes entries to keep reporting upstream rather than making an argument of their own.
The next SKS entries are likely to be operational — node pool and upgrade tooling around 1.37 — with any directional move coming from another managed service rather than from the Kubernetes track.

The 8.10 line is in hardening, not expansion. The recurring theme across the fixes is multi-tenancy and cluster membership — physical tenants appearing in configuration validation, RDBMS table prefixes, Swagger routes and snapshot isolation, alongside repeated Raft membership repair. That is the cost profile of a distributed engine absorbing a tenancy model, and it is where the effort has gone all cycle.
Expect 8.10 to reach a release candidate and then general availability on the strength of this fix backlog rather than another feature alpha, with the tenancy and Raft membership work continuing to dominate the notes.
