No-code workflow automation and orchestration platform for security and IT teams

Tines is turning Apps into a first-class build surface with real data access and enterprise controls

appscasesmcpssoworkflow-automationsecurity-operations
Current state
Tines is investing behind Apps and Cases rather than the core workflow engine. Apps can now read cases, records and resources through built-in functions, are reachable through the MCP server, and can be shared under SSO. Cases picked up 3B workflows as actions plus layout control.
Where it's heading
The pattern is Apps graduating from a lightweight front-end into something that queries tenant data directly and ships under enterprise authentication. Each release removes a piece of scaffolding — an endpoint here, a sharing workaround there — that previously stood between an App and the platform underneath it.
Prediction
Expect Apps to gain write access to the same primitives they can now read, and for the SSO sharing model to extend to the remaining shareable objects.

Support for Tines primitives in Apps

Apps can read cases, records and resources through built-in functions, with no endpoint to create or call. Removes the main piece of plumbing between an App and the data it sits on.
