Element X Android
5.0COMMS
Element X Android follows multi-account with cross-session notifications and better forwarding.
◆ Current state
Element X Android ships a numbered release every one to two weeks. v26.10.0 turned on multi-account support and global search; v26.10.1 builds on it with notifications from other sessions on the same device, other accounts' user status in settings, and room suggestions plus fixes for forwarding. It also fixes a key-backup duplication and lost cross-signing keys after creating a new account.
◆ Where it's heading
The app is moving from parity work toward being a daily driver for people with several Matrix identities, while the new timeline renderer, flagged since September, keeps gaining features such as pills. The bug fixes show multi-account still has rough edges in encryption state.
◆ Prediction
Expect the new timeline renderer to leave its feature flag in an upcoming release, and more multi-account polish. The entries don't show a date for either.
Superhuman
5.0COMMS
Superhuman adapts to iPhone Duo and iOS 27 as its mobile app catches up.
◆ Current state
Superhuman is a premium email client that is building out a calendar and team features around its mail core. Its October mobile batch added Compact Mode, swipe actions and attachment-aware AI. The newest release optimizes the iOS app for the dual-screen iPhone Duo and for iOS 27 screen sizes.
◆ Where it's heading
Superhuman is closing gaps on mobile and in the calendar: density, gestures, recurring meetings, week settings and room booking. The Duo note points to multi-pane mobile layouts next, with mail and calendar side by side, which would tie the two halves of the product together on the phone.
◆ Prediction
Expect a dual-pane Duo layout that shows an email next to the calendar, as the release itself promises, plus more calendar basics.
