◆Current state
Signal Desktop is in its standard beta rhythm — incremental weekly releases that ship small UX refinements and bug fixes, with occasional substantive features. The v8.27.0 beta cycle delivered genuine notification controls: per-muted-thread preferences, app badge customization, and a restore-defaults button.
