Single Grain
Single Grain's feed shifts to sales-ops how-tos, still agency content rather than product.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Cvent and Surfer SEO — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Cvent publishes its November 18 release window across five product lines.
Cvent's feed is mostly its release calendar. The November 18 window now has posts for Trade Show Solutions, Plan & Promote, Attendee Engagement, Actionable Insights and Spend & Workflow, with items such as Jifflenow saved calendar views and multi-budget configuration. Attendee Assistant, which answers attendee questions from approved event data, remains the most notable recent product item.
Surfer turns AI visibility into a to-do list, now reaching into server logs and off-page work.
Surfer now scores content for both Google rankings and AI-search citations, and its MCP server has left beta for Pro and higher plans. The October batch widens the AI-visibility surface: Recommendations now rank off-page moves like earning mentions and fixing sentiment, and a closed-beta Agent Analytics reads server logs to show which pages AI crawlers actually fetch. Distribution is broadening too, with the WordPress plugin now running the full Content Editor and the app shipping in French and Polish.

Cvent ships on a fixed, two-week release cadence split by product family, so most updates arrive as broad bundles rather than single launches. The AI work so far sits on the attendee side, with Attendee Assistant.
The feed excerpts are too short to rank the November 18 items; expect the next window's posts around two weeks later in the same five-part format.

Since May the thread has been programmatic access plus AI-search measurement. API expansion led to MCP beta, and MCP is now generally available. Each AI-visibility release closes another gap between what Surfer measures and what it tells you to do, and that now extends beyond your own pages. Surfer is positioning itself as the system of record for how a brand appears in AI answers, not only as a writing aid.
Agent Analytics and the rebuilt Topical Map are both pre-release, so the next move is likely one of them opening up. Their data would probably feed into Recommendations the same way AI Tracker did in August.
