Affiliate marketing management plugin for WordPress and WooCommerce

AffiliateWP keeps widening who it can actually pay, not just how

affiliate-payoutsautomationcross-borderstripefraud-preventionwordpress
Current state
AffiliateWP has spent the past year rebuilding the money-movement half of the plugin, and the newest release goes after the last constraint on the recipient side: bank payouts now reach affiliates in 90+ countries, in their own currency, with no Stripe account needed on the affiliate's end. That sits on top of scheduled recurring payouts, multi-currency Stripe with automatic 1099s, and validated batch runs that pay each affiliate by whichever method they are set up with. A parallel RewardsWP line — points, birthday rewards, free-product rewards — applies the same automation logic to customer loyalty.
Where it's heading
The arc has moved from paying affiliates, to paying them automatically, to paying them wherever they happen to be. Each release strips a constraint out of the payout loop: first the manual trigger, now the requirement that the recipient hold an account with the same processor the merchant uses. Anti-fraud folded into core earlier this year is what makes unattended payment at that reach defensible, and the pieces increasingly read as one system rather than a plugin plus addons.
Prediction
Expect the scheduling engine to grow conditional rules — thresholds, holdbacks, minimum balances — and payout-cost and reconciliation reporting to follow, since a merchant now has several rails and fee structures to account for.

Pay affiliates straight to their bank in 90+ countries

Bank payouts extend the existing multi-method payout engine to affiliates in 90+ countries, paid in their own currency without needing a Stripe account of their own. It widens the reach of the payout arc rather than changing its shape — but removing the processor requirement on the recipient side is the most consequential widening so far.

    ⚡ SPARK

Pay Affiliates in Their Own Currency With Stripe

Multi-currency payouts across the US, UK, Europe, Canada and Switzerland from the merchant's existing Stripe account, with automatic 1099s for US affiliates. The direct precursor to bank payouts: same claim, narrower reach, still tied to Stripe on both sides.

Pay Every Affiliate Their Way, All at Once

Batch payouts that pay every affiliate by their configured method in one run and flag problems before money moves. This is the multi-method engine the later scheduling and bank-payout work both build on.
