What is Auth0?

Auth0 is rebuilding itself as the identity layer between B2B apps, their customers, and AI agents.

Auth0's last two weeks are dense with B2B multi-tenancy work that lands as Early Access and Beta rather than GA. Organizations gained per-org roles, per-org application entitlement, third-party app support and member search; Enterprise Connect opened as a way to federate an existing SAML or OIDC authorization server into Auth0. Cross App Access shipped as an open standard for passing authorization between applications and agents.

What is Statsig?

Statsig is packaging its own workflows as skills for someone else's agent to run.

Statsig's experimentation and feature-flag platform opened a public agent-skills repository holding reusable workflows — create dashboard, create cloud metric — written as instructions an AI agent can execute. Its MCP server extended to Segments and Layers, covering user targeting and experiment configuration, and Metrics Explorer gained the ability to abort long-running queries. The crawled feed captures marketing pages as entries, so several rows carry navigation boilerplate rather than release notes.

Auth0 is rebuilding itself as the identity layer between B2B apps, their customers, and AI agents.

◆ Current state

Auth0's last two weeks are dense with B2B multi-tenancy work that lands as Early Access and Beta rather than GA. Organizations gained per-org roles, per-org application entitlement, third-party app support and member search; Enterprise Connect opened as a way to federate an existing SAML or OIDC authorization server into Auth0. Cross App Access shipped as an open standard for passing authorization between applications and agents.

◆ Where it's heading

The through-line is that Auth0 is absorbing the logic B2B SaaS teams used to write themselves. Org-scoped roles replace metadata workarounds, entitlement enforcement replaces custom Actions, and self-service enterprise configuration hands SSO setup to the customer's own admin. Enterprise Connect extends that from feature to posture: Auth0 layers on top of an identity stack a company already runs instead of demanding replacement.

◆ Prediction

The Early Access and Beta cluster around Organizations points to a consolidated B2B tier reaching GA, with org-scoped roles and entitlement as its core. Cross App Access is the piece with reach beyond Auth0's own customers, and its adoption depends on parties outside these entries — the changelog does not yet show who else implements it.

Statsig is packaging its own workflows as skills for someone else's agent to run.

◆ Current state

Statsig's experimentation and feature-flag platform opened a public agent-skills repository holding reusable workflows — create dashboard, create cloud metric — written as instructions an AI agent can execute. Its MCP server extended to Segments and Layers, covering user targeting and experiment configuration, and Metrics Explorer gained the ability to abort long-running queries. The crawled feed captures marketing pages as entries, so several rows carry navigation boilerplate rather than release notes.

◆ Where it's heading

The direction is agent-operated experimentation. MCP covering segments and layers means an agent can configure targeting, and the skills repository means the multi-step workflows around that configuration are distributable artifacts rather than documentation. Statsig is betting the console is not where experiments get set up much longer.

◆ Prediction

Expect the skills catalog to grow toward the analysis side — reading experiment results and proposing rollout decisions, not just creating objects. The query-abort work suggests warehouse cost control is a live concern as agent-driven usage increases.
