Koofr's second DDoS in six months turns availability into the story, not features
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Wiki.js and Zoho Sign — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Wiki.js 3.0 beta has moved from adding headline features to finishing the editing and review surfaces.
Wiki.js runs two tracks: 2.x stable, which now ships only security patches, and a 3.0 beta still labeled 'not for production'. Over the past month the beta added Excalidraw live collaboration, SCIM provisioning, an audit log, AsciiDoc and draw.io editing, notifications, and RTL support. The newest beta adds inline annotations in the Talk view, an image properties dialog, and locale completeness indicators.
Zoho Sign is clearing the exit path off Docusign while stacking up regional legal assurance
Zoho Sign publishes through the Zoho blog, so entries are announcement posts truncated to roughly 350 characters. The recent run splits three ways: legal assurance by jurisdiction — qualified electronic signatures for the EU through SIGN8, pan-India e-Stamping — client surfaces including a native Windows app, and agent access through Zoho MCP, where a prompt can send a document for signature and track it. The newest entry adds template migration from Docusign.

The large capabilities are in place, and each release now finishes surfaces that already exist: discussion, image handling, translations. Fixes to v2 locale import mapping and to Postgres-backed job claiming for notification fan-out show the team working on migration correctness and multi-instance reliability, which matter for production deployments more than new features do.
Expect more polish and migration-fidelity fixes, likely around the Talk and annotation features and multilingual sites; the entries do not show when 3.0 will drop its beta label.

Two motions, both aimed at displacement. Zoho is assembling the assurance levels that let it be used for agreements a standard e-signature cannot carry, jurisdiction by jurisdiction, which is what removes the reason enterprises stay with an incumbent. And it is removing the switching cost directly: bringing Docusign templates across in minutes attacks the specific lock-in that keeps a customer on a platform whose documents are already built there. The MCP work runs alongside, making signature workflows something an agent initiates rather than a person.
Template migration is the first piece of a switching kit rather than the whole of it; expect the remaining Docusign artefacts — envelopes in flight, saved recipients, completed-document archives — to follow, since a template alone does not move a live signing operation.
