Webflow is rebuilding around AI as both the audience for a site and the operator of it.
Webflow's changelog has split into two streams. One is the visual builder getting real depth: Component Slots now accept images, collection lists, sliders and rich text; localization gained per-language tone and formality; the custom attribute field now splits a pasted name=value pair on its own. The other stream treats the site's most important reader as a model, with AEO analytics running your prompts through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, and MCP 2.0 handing agents context, control and governance in production.

The builder work continues as a steady stream of editor affordances, but it is no longer where direction gets set.
