Teable
Teable is turning its no-code database into a place to host AI agents, and now gives admins control over the compute.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Twake Drive and Wiki.js — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Twake Drive is turning its file picker into a reusable component other apps can embed.
Twake Drive ships beta releases every few weeks. Most of the work goes into the embeddable File Picker: single-selection mode, thumbnail links, themes, double-click pick and ready-state messages. Alongside it come reusable file-type and date filters and federated-sharing fixes. It has also been cutting features, removing encrypted-file support and the Harvest integration.
Wiki.js 3.0 beta turns to identity claims and import hardening as the feature list settles.
Wiki.js runs two tracks: 2.x stable, which now gets only security patches, and a 3.0 beta still labeled 'not for production'. Over the past month the beta added Excalidraw live collaboration, SCIM provisioning, an audit log, AsciiDoc and draw.io editing, notifications, RTL support, annotations and a glossary. The newest beta adds optional OIDC/SAML claims (email_verified, location, job title, pronouns), richer admin stats, and fixes for v2 imports, HA cache sync and unauthorized upload memory use.

The focus is making Drive a file layer other apps call through the picker, while simplifying the core by removing lesser-used features. Patch betas like 1.107.1 fix layout details.
Expect 1.107 to stabilize and further picker and filter work in 1.108; more feature removals are plausible given the recent pattern.

Headline features are in place; recent betas fill out navigation, identity plumbing and operational safety rather than adding new editors. Every release also carries migration fixes (locale mapping, path rewriting, now import timeouts and batch sizes), which shows the team clearing blockers for moving 2.x installs onto 3.0, and the HA cache fix suggests multi-node deployments are now being tested.
More betas pairing SSO/identity refinements with v2-import and multi-node reliability fixes are the likely next step. The entries still give no date for 3.0 dropping its beta label.
