Making the Action Gateway mandatory in July was the architectural version of the same instinct: one enforced path for anything an action touches.

The beta.51 candidate count suggests a 1.0.0 cut is being stabilized toward rather than freely developed on, so expect the remaining candidates to narrow to fixes. Every significant release in this window replaces a per-unit view with a rolled-up one, and the newest chat work extends the same idea to communication by surfacing conversations in unit and tenant context rather than as one flat inbox. The financial metrics are the tell: net operating income and cash-on-cash return are investor language, not landlord-chore language.

The obvious next step is joining the two halves — per-portfolio performance rather than the current all-properties rollup, since the grouping primitive and the metrics both now exist. Reporting exports or owner-facing statements would follow naturally from the same data.
