A landing page builder that turned itself into an agent surface, then started charging for it.
Swipe Pages has spent 2026 converting a conventional landing page builder into an agent-driven one. The AI Agents launch in December 2025 established chat-based page generation; every release since has hardened it — Code Mode with model selection and block locking, AI image generation in-builder, tracking codes and Events API integrations carried over from the classic product. As of July, AI pages have reached feature parity with the hand-built ones on the things that matter commercially: A/B testing, personalization, and cross-subaccount portability.
TinaCMS spends a whole release train paying down its dependency tree and its React 19 debt.
TinaCMS is a Git-backed headless CMS with a visual editor, released as a pnpm monorepo where every package version-bumps together within the same second. The 17 August cluster added the media manager work — rename, search, folder/file filtering — and cut roughly 250MB of admin dependencies. The 24 August cluster that followed is almost entirely cleanup: the final-form family moved to its TypeScript majors, which is where React 19 enters the peer range; acorn is deduplicated so @tinacms/mdx ships one parser instead of three, cutting the browser bundle by about 400KB; js-yaml picks up an upstream security fix in both the CLI and GraphQL packages; and crypto-js, fs-extra and dead typedoc tooling are removed.

Two arcs are converging. The first is distribution: Swipe Genie became addressable from outside the product via MCP in April, first on request, then GA across all plans in July — the builder is now something an external agent drives, not just a UI a marketer opens. The second is monetization: AI credits landed on every plan in May as a purchasable, non-expiring unit, which turns generation volume into revenue rather than cost. Bug-fix releases in between are dominated by agent-session plumbing — transcripts, thought signatures, invitee access — the maintenance profile of a product whose core loop is now a conversation.
Expect the credit system to gain the usual second-order machinery — per-subaccount allocation and usage reporting — since subaccount timezone and analytics work is already landing. The MCP surface reaching GA on all plans without a matching pricing line suggests agent-driven publishing is next to be metered.

Two consecutive trains have been spent on weight and correctness rather than features, and the pattern inside them is consistent: find a dependency that was never needed, or was needed three times, and delete it. The React 19 unblocking is the most consequential thread — the final-form majors were the last unmet peer outside the GraphiQL chain, so the framework the admin is built on can now move forward. Alongside it sits a run of admin robustness fixes for the case where a TinaCloud session quietly expires.
With the peer ranges cleared, the natural next step is React 19 itself in the admin, and the GraphiQL chain is the remaining blocker the release notes single out.
