Rollbar
Rollbar now runs Resolve by itself: a new error can become a fix PR with no one starting it
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Svelte and Tines — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
SvelteKit 3 shipped as a tidy-up; remote functions, its top priority, did not make it.
SvelteKit 3.0 is out, with sv 1.0 released the same day and the community add-on API now official. The announcement describes the same framework with more polish: configuration in vite.config.ts, $lib replaced by #lib, reworked environment variables, simpler service workers and better error handling. sv migrate handles most of the upgrade and generates a TODO list for the rest. Svelte core was quiet, with 5.57.1 limited to bug fixes and parser performance.
Tines opens Records to AI clients and removes stored keys from its cloud credentials
Records has been the busiest part of Tines this autumn. Version 2 of the records API added new read endpoints, records gained four new field types with validation, and AI clients on the Tines MCP server can now create, update and delete records and record types, not only read them. Cases search was rebuilt with full-text search and AND/OR filter groups. On the access side, Apps shared by SSO can be limited to identity-provider groups, and AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Entra and Oracle Cloud credentials can use workload identity federation, so no long-lived keys are stored.

The major version consolidates rather than reinvents, but the last prereleases still carried real breakage for platform teams: Cloudflare's platform object is gone in favor of an emulated cloudflare:workers module, and adapter-node now serves only static assets present at build time. Remote functions are the open item. The team calls them its top priority, and they depend on Async Svelte, which still needs an experimental flag.
The next directional move is Async Svelte and remote functions leaving their experimental state. Svelte Summit in Ljubljana on November 19-20 is the obvious stage, though the entries do not promise an announcement there.

Records is turning from a table inside a story into a data layer that outside software, including AI clients, can read and change. The MCP write access matters most here, because it lets an external assistant alter tenant data that stories depend on. The credentials and SSO work moves in step with it: as more clients reach further in, Tines narrows who gets in and what secrets sit on its side.
Expect the records API, which has so far only received new read endpoints in v2, to gain write endpoints on the same model. The SSO group restriction is likely to spread to Collections, which share the same SSO model.
