What is ShipBob?

A logistics content engine with one real signal buried in an event recap: ShipBob MCP.

Almost everything in this window is search-oriented education — WMS buying guides, warehouse traffic planning, cross-border shipping explainers, Amazon FBA fee breakdowns. The feed functions as a demand-generation channel for a 3PL rather than a changelog. The exception is a recap of Fulfilled 2026, ShipBob's annual merchant event, which names ShipBob Promise and ShipBob MCP alongside cross-border, omnichannel, and AI-ready supply chain themes.

What is GrandNode?

GrandNode rebuilt itself into modules — then the release feed went quiet for a year.

GrandNode ships one substantial beta per .NET major version, and the last one, 2.3.0, was the most structural: the monolith split into installable modules for installation, migration, API and scheduled tasks, each toggleable from appsettings, and the API layer dropped OData and Swagger for OpenAPI and Scalar. Nothing has appeared in the feed since that release in early 2025.

◆ Current state

Almost everything in this window is search-oriented education — WMS buying guides, warehouse traffic planning, cross-border shipping explainers, Amazon FBA fee breakdowns. The feed functions as a demand-generation channel for a 3PL rather than a changelog. The exception is a recap of Fulfilled 2026, ShipBob's annual merchant event, which names ShipBob Promise and ShipBob MCP alongside cross-border, omnichannel, and AI-ready supply chain themes.

◆ Where it's heading

The published content is converging on one argument: merchants running legacy or self-managed warehouse systems should evaluate outsourcing, and ShipBob is the landing spot. Under that, the event recap points somewhere more interesting — exposing fulfillment through an MCP interface and attaching a delivery promise to the network. Product news reaches this feed only through blog framing, so the real release cadence is not observable here.

◆ Prediction

Expect the ShipBob MCP and Promise announcements to get dedicated follow-up posts with actual implementation detail; until then the WMS-versus-outsourcing content will keep dominating the feed.

GrandNode rebuilt itself into modules — then the release feed went quiet for a year.

◆ Current state

GrandNode ships one substantial beta per .NET major version, and the last one, 2.3.0, was the most structural: the monolith split into installable modules for installation, migration, API and scheduled tasks, each toggleable from appsettings, and the API layer dropped OData and Swagger for OpenAPI and Scalar. Nothing has appeared in the feed since that release in early 2025.

◆ Where it's heading

The arc across these four betas is consistent decomposition. Each cycle pulls something out of the core — database providers, the vendor portal, template handling, then the installation and API subsystems themselves — and re-lands it as a separable piece. Payments moved the same way, with Stripe Checkout replacing the bundled PayPal plugin. The direction is clear; the cadence is not, and roughly a year of silence in the feed is the more significant fact right now.

◆ Prediction

The entries establish a rhythm of one beta per ASP.NET Core major, which would point at a .NET 10 cycle next, but nothing in this changelog indicates whether that work is underway — the gap since 2.3.0 is unexplained here.
