Without new feature development visible in the changelog, Skipper appears to be a solved problem for its operators — doing its job reliably without needing frequent changes.
The next substantive Skipper change is likely either a Go runtime upgrade to pick up stdlib improvements, or a response to an upstream Kubernetes API change that requires route configuration updates. The OTel propagator ordering bug documented in v0.27.89 may produce a follow-up fix.
