Test results dashboard and analytics for Cypress and Playwright CI runs

Currents moved into the IDE and repriced itself around self-serve in the same fortnight.

Current state
Currents publishes short labeled changelog entries, and the visible window runs from April to August. Two carry real weight: a VS Code and Cursor extension bringing CI runs, failure triage and Playwright traces into the editor, and a pricing restructure a week later adding a self-serve Business plan, cheaper rates, revised overage and yearly usage pooling. Around them sit integration work with Linear and Slack, and a @currents/playwright 2.0 release supporting Playwright 1.60 and newer.
Where it's heading
Currents is moving its surface toward where failures get fixed rather than where they get reported. The IDE extension, the Linear integration and the Slack notifications all describe the same handoff, and each one names agents alongside humans as the consumer. The pricing change points the same way commercially: a self-serve Business tier removes the sales conversation from the middle of the funnel, and that is precisely the tier an IDE extension is most likely to pull in.
Prediction
Expect the agent-facing framing to become explicit, with the IDE extension and the API growing structured failure output a coding agent consumes directly rather than prose written for a human reader.

[Improved] Better Slack notifications for CI test runs

Slack notifications gain clearer run updates, recovery alerts and automated reports, and carry AI-assisted fixes into the channel. It extends the failure-to-fix handoff the IDE extension opened into the surface where teams already watch CI, rather than opening new ground.

    [Improved] New Pricing Plans

    ⚡ SPARK

A full pricing restructure: cheaper rates, more included users, a self-serve Business plan, reworked overage and yearly usage pooling. Arriving a week after the IDE extension, it is the commercial half of the same move toward teams adopting Currents without a sales conversation.

    [New] Currents IDE Extension

    ⚡ SPARK

Currents ships a VS Code and Cursor extension putting CI test runs, agent-assisted failure fixing and Playwright trace exploration inside the editor. It relocates the product from a dashboard you visit after a failure to a panel open while you fix it.

    [New] Integration with Linear

Test failure details can be pushed into Linear directly from Currents, framed for troubleshooting by humans or agents. Another endpoint on the same failure-routing arc, this time the issue tracker rather than the editor or chat.

    [New] @currents/playwright 2.0 - Playwright 1.60+ Support

The Playwright reporter package reaches 2.0 with support for Playwright 1.60 and newer. Runner compatibility maintenance: necessary to stay usable, but parity work rather than new capability.

[New] Invite guests without using paid seats

Guests can join an organization without consuming a billable seat, easing access for stakeholders and cross-team reviewers. A packaging adjustment that reads in hindsight as an early move toward the broader pricing rework three months later.
