The API, Terraform and MCP work share a single goal — nothing should require the dashboard — and the schema-recommendations feature landing simultaneously as a REST endpoint and an MCP tool is the clearest statement of it. Traffic Control is the exception, launched as a named product surface and then immediately given the same CLI and threshold treatment.

MCP with browser-based OAuth is the clearest signal: Honeybadger wants coding agents pulling error context directly rather than developers pasting stack traces into a chat window, and dropping the Docker self-host step is what turns that from a project into a default. The Insights work points the same way — parameterized dashboards and object-storage archival are what customers ask for once the data is worth keeping. Anomaly detection fits too, moving alerting from thresholds someone configured to baselines the system infers.
