Honeybadger is a mature error- and uptime-monitoring service, and its recent releases point in two consistent directions: extending Insights (its logs/events/BadgerQL layer) toward full observability, and deepening two-way integrations with issue trackers. The throughline is Honeybadger becoming the single tool a team queries for both errors and application events, not just exceptions. Insights keeps gaining data-warehouse-like capabilities — parameterized dashboards, long-term S3/R2 archiving, more language clients — while the integration surface (GitHub/GitLab/Jira exports, Backlog, AWS Marketplace billing) reduces friction for teams already in those ecosystems. It's steady, incremental platform-widening rather than any single pivot.
