The newest candidate, rc4, is explicitly backports plus tests with no new features, one day after rc3 was still adding agent-level filters, an environment flag to disable default index fields, and parallel zstd compression. The 0.91 line in the same window handled memtable rotation, a schema-migration guard, and an RBAC backport.

Expect the 3.1 line to spend its patches stabilising the ServerMap V3 storage path and backporting plugin updates, with the next set of runtime and client integrations arriving the same way they always have.

A candidate train that stops accepting features is a train converging on a release. The substance of 0.92 — ingestion and query tuning knobs, configurable indexing, agent-level filters — arrived across rc1 through rc3, while the 0.91 patches narrowed to one or two lines each, which is what happens when attention moves to the next minor. Release notes remain raw pull-request lists, so the weight of any given release has to be read off PR titles rather than a summary.
A 0.92.0 general release is the next likely tag, with any further candidates carrying fixes rather than features, and the 0.91 line producing occasional single-fix patches until it is retired.
