In parallel the media layer keeps absorbing formats other libraries push out to external tools: PSD, layered TIFF, PDF, and now 360°. PhotoPrism is positioning as the thing you point at a mixed archive, not just a photo folder.

Tana is building the meeting as a workspace where agents act, and approval is the constant: drafts wait for a click before anything is sent. Connecting outside assistants is the notable turn, since it treats Claude and ChatGPT as participants rather than rivals, with their work private until shared. Tana's value then rests on the live context of the call and the actions that follow it, not on owning the model.

Expect more external agents and tools to reach the meeting chat, given that Settings already has an External agents section and suggestions route across tools. The desktop-only requirement for bring-your-own agents is the obvious limit to lift next.
