Hive is going deep on two modules rather than broad across the product. Creative proofing is being hardened for work with outside approvers, where the requirement is not more features but tighter control over who sees which version. The more telling change is AI Proofing: the reference-document picker is back after having been removed, with automatic selection now an explicit opt-in. That is an AI feature being walked back toward human control, and it suggests the automatic behavior was picking the wrong source material often enough to matter.
