Apache Airflow
Airflow 3.4 reaches its first release candidate, a week after the 10-20 provider wave.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of MISP and Railway — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
MISP 2.5.50 deletes legacy discussions, templates and allowedlists as security fixes keep coming.
MISP is deep in a security-remediation cycle: 2.5.46, 2.5.47, 2.5.48 and now 2.5.50 each ship externally reported fixes, and 2.4.221 backported 57 of them to the EOL branch. 2.5.47 added PostgreSQL support and a first AI-assisted analysis integration. 2.5.50 moves Redis host settings to CLI-only and closes event-index and object-search information leaks. It also starts deleting legacy features outright.
After its October 21 incident, Railway starts patching service images automatically.
Railway's weekly bundles span agent infrastructure (Cloud Agents, a hosted MCP server, model access across Claude, ChatGPT, OpenCode and OpenRouter) and production operations (HA for every managed database, MySQL PITR, Railway Authentication). Its October 23 update disclosed an October 21 security incident with recommended customer actions. The October 30 release is narrower than usual: Railway now rolls security fixes out to affected service images and function runtimes, and redeploys connected services when database or bucket credentials are regenerated.

The project is shifting from adding hardening patches to shrinking its attack surface. In 2.5.50, event discussions become analyst notes, legacy templates become event templates, and signature allowedlists become warninglists, with migrations and logged failures. Combined with the Overmind UI migration and the database abstraction, this looks like a deliberate cleanup of the 2.5 codebase.
Expect further legacy features to be migrated and removed in the next releases, alongside more advisories from the ongoing review. Admins with workflows on the removed discussion trigger will need to adapt.

The big directional moves (Cloud Agents, no-account deploys, hosted MCP) landed in August and early September; since then releases have filled in operational controls for teams running production on Railway. The latest entry takes on work customers used to do themselves, patching images and restarting services after a credential rotation. The entries don't link it to the incident directly, but it answers the same production-trust question.
Expect the final incident report and more security controls before the feature bundles resume. The entries still don't say what the incident affected, so the scope of any follow-up is unclear.
