OpenReplay
OpenReplay's pgx v5 move reaches 1.22, then needs a password-escaping fix on three lines.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Microsoft Clarity and ThingsBoard — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Clarity turns its AI-traffic work toward agents on sites, with a 5.2M-session study.
Microsoft Clarity's product releases sit almost entirely on AI visibility: citation topics, branded vs non-branded query splits, scrape-to-referral attribution, custom brand terms and page-type classification in Bot Activity. October has brought no product release so far, only two blog posts: a study of AI-powered visits across 5.2 million sessions, and an account of cutting clarity.js by 4.5% with an automated AI experiment loop.
ThingsBoard closes a script-sandbox file write and dozens of CVEs on its 4.3 and 4.2 lines.
ThingsBoard keeps three lines patched in parallel: 4.4, 4.3.1 and the 4.2 LTS. On October 27, 4.3.1.8 and 4.2.2.8 shipped a large security batch, including a fix for arbitrary file writes from the TBEL script sandbox and tamper protection for the OAuth2 authorization cookie. On October 30, 4.4.0.2 followed with security patches, though its notes list no details.

Each release adds another filter or segmentation layer to the same AI-visibility surface, moving it from raw counts toward per-page and per-brand reporting. The agent study extends the subject from AI crawlers and citations to agents acting on sites, including searches, forms and checkout. The MCP server posts suggest Clarity also wants this data queried by agents, not just read in dashboards.
Expect agent sessions to appear as their own segment in Clarity reporting, following the path from crawler data to scrape-to-referral. The entries don't confirm such a feature or show whether Clarity will charge for any of this.

After the 4.4 feature release the project is back to maintenance on all supported lines, mostly security and runtime fixes, with the IoT Hub catalogue getting steady UI work alongside. Feature work arrives in larger, infrequent releases.
Expect the next entries to be routine patches across all three lines. The notes do not say whether 4.4.0.2 carries the same fixes as the 4.3 batch.
