What is Metricool?

Metricool stops measuring social media and starts closing sales inside it.

Flows launched on 1 September: a keyword typed into an Instagram comment, DM or Story reply triggers up to three personalised replies, each automation carrying its own stats on sends, interactions and click-through. Instagram and TikTok are live, X follows in the coming weeks. It sits in a Flows tab inside the Planner, free for an initial period and then a paid add-on on the Starter and Advanced plans. Around it the feed remains what it has been — SEO content on AI agents, platform news, and how-to guides — with the real product signal arriving under named formats like the monthly Product Updates digest.

What is Writesonic?

Writesonic's changelog is now entirely about who AI systems recommend, not what they write.

Only three entries exist and every one of them is about visibility inside AI answers rather than content generation. Brand Explorer is a zero-setup research tool showing how any brand appears across ChatGPT. AI Shopping Tracker, published the same morning, follows products through AI shopping recommendations from brand-level performance down to individual product and merchant detail. The earlier entry adds tags for organizing and filtering AI search visibility data. The bodies are one-line teasers, so scope has to be read from direction rather than detail.

◆ Current state

Flows launched on 1 September: a keyword typed into an Instagram comment, DM or Story reply triggers up to three personalised replies, each automation carrying its own stats on sends, interactions and click-through. Instagram and TikTok are live, X follows in the coming weeks. It sits in a Flows tab inside the Planner, free for an initial period and then a paid add-on on the Starter and Advanced plans. Around it the feed remains what it has been — SEO content on AI agents, platform news, and how-to guides — with the real product signal arriving under named formats like the monthly Product Updates digest.

◆ Where it's heading

Two launches in seven days have changed what this product is for. Studio, in the August digest, automated the reporting end; Flows automates the conversion end. Between them the tool covers plan, publish, measure, report and now sell, which is the full loop an agency runs — and each new piece has arrived with its own pricing attached rather than folded into existing plans. The SEO output has been trailing this for months, running AI-agent and automation explainers well ahead of any automation actually shipping.

◆ Prediction

X is named for the coming weeks and the free period is explicitly temporary, so the next moves are that rollout and the add-on's pricing landing on Starter and Advanced. Whether Flows gets the reporting depth Studio has is not addressed.

◆ Current state

Only three entries exist and every one of them is about visibility inside AI answers rather than content generation. Brand Explorer is a zero-setup research tool showing how any brand appears across ChatGPT. AI Shopping Tracker, published the same morning, follows products through AI shopping recommendations from brand-level performance down to individual product and merchant detail. The earlier entry adds tags for organizing and filtering AI search visibility data. The bodies are one-line teasers, so scope has to be read from direction rather than detail.

◆ Where it's heading

Whatever Writesonic was, the changelog now describes a measurement product for AI search — the category that formed once assistants started answering questions buyers used to type into a search engine. The two same-day launches split it in two directions: one general, tracking brand presence in conversational answers, and one commercial, tracking products and merchants inside shopping recommendations. Tags shipping months earlier suggests the visibility data was already large enough to need organizing.

◆ Prediction

Expect coverage to expand across more assistants than ChatGPT, since a visibility tool measuring one model is a partial answer. The entries are too thin to indicate whether the shopping and brand products stay separate.
